Detailed Notes
Core Notes from Last Week:
Satsang on dedication and trust
- My stuckness can only be fixed by you, Shri Hanumanji
- Our thoughts want one thing, actions want another, words say another
- Fear and indulgence lead to escapism and forgetfulness – “I will do this later
- Life should evolve from me to “meaning”
- Dedication gives direction to our effort, and trust gives rest to our heart
- Control is an illusion
- Grace flows where effort and surrender meet
- With planning, the eraser on your pencil is symbolic of trust – Bhagavan has a master plan that we work through from his Grace
- Revolve around what is important, conviction is that what you must be doing
RAW from Last Week: Declutter one area of your life. Physical, mental, or emotional – a schedule, a space, or a habit.
Core Notes from This Week:
Aur -> And
Manorat -> Wish
Jo Koi -> Whoever
Lave -> Comes with or brings
Dasu -> That wish
Pave -> Is obtained
Amita -> in boundless amounts
Jeevan -> In this lifetime
- Whoever brings a wish or desire to Hanumanji, they will receive it in full measure in this lifetime.
- Seeking becomes possible when the noise in our lives becomes quiet.
When the mind is quiet and directed, we begin to ask important questions - Hanumanji responds to where we are and our sincerity
- If we are seeking belonging, Hanumanji gives us devotion
- If we are seeking purpose, Hanumaji gives us direction
- Hanumanji meets us at our intention.
- Hanumanji is a mirror reflecting our very selves.
- Hanumanji is here to lead us to the fundamental
- Vibhisana and Ravana reach Lord Rama as well
- What we seek and how we ask reveal where we are in our inner world
- Truth remains truth regardless of what we believe
- The outer world is a reflection of our inner world
- As we grow, our seeking matures, and that mirror begins to change in what we are asking for
- Be more reflective, like what Bhagvan is always teaching us how to be with him
RAW for this week: Contemplate the following question: Does God exist? Who or what is God? Can God be known?
